Laguna wandered through the alley, wearing his dark blue overcoat, smiling, silent as he moved
"so this is New York? Hmm, alot has changed over the past ....forty-five years" he said with a chuckle
He looked around, he was, for the moment, alone. That was how he liked it.

Raphael was ducking in and out of the shadows, trying to avoid people who would discriminate him for his mixed heritage. He thought he was in the clear when he darted into the street, nearly tripping over himself when he saw someone there. He gave a sharp yelp as he hid behind a pole. 'Crap, did they see me?' He thought to himself.

Laguna heard the yelp and turned around, catching sight of the vampire. He was smiling and took out a large purple scythe from the depths of his coat
"I saw you, stop hiding. I won't bite, well, unless you're a human...."
He was new to New York, but he knew that the local vampires made things dangerous, especially if one turned their back in a dark alleyway. He was twirling the scythe impatiently, this person seemed to be a vampire, but he couldn't tell from what clan....or what that meant

"Crap..." He muttered to himself and stepped out from behind the pole, watching the man spin his strange scythe. He could tell he was a vampire and he didn't particularly care to think about which tribe he could be from. Since he was rouge it didn't really matter, all the clans hated him equally. He could at least tell he wasn't Gangrel so he wouldn't attack him for no reason.

"ahh, good a fellow vampire...nice to meet you, may I ask what your name is?...and maybe what clan you're from too."
Laguna took a bow to the man, his scythe making a swishing motion as he swung it through the air. He wasn't sure whether or not the man would attack him. But he isn't that worried if the man did decide to get violent.

"Raphael, and I don't have a clan." He watched him cautiously, not feeling too good about the way he was swinging that thing around.

Laguna stopped swinging the scythe and leaned on it.
"I'm Laguna, I think I'm a Mehket, though I'm really more of a rogue. I'm not sure and really don't care either way."
Laguna liked how the rogue was watching him so cautiously. It was really starting to like it here.
"So, you don't have a clan? Shame really, though I guess in some circles that could be called a good thing, ahhh well"
As he talked he made many gestures to strengthen his point. All the while watching this man carefully for the slightest hint of an attack.

"It can be sometimes." He continued to watch, not really trusting anyone since no one trusted him. Being rouge was a blessing and a curse, he could move freely and not have ties to any clan, but was ostricized from other clans just as easily and not accepted anywhere and didn't belong anywhere.

Laguna chuckled, this man seemed very tense. Minute hints of stress could be seen of his body.
"Relax, Raphael, I'm not going to attack you....well not without good reason. After all I'm not THAT great of a fighter."
Laguna laughed, he had some fighting skills, but probably no where near strong enough to match a rogue, let alone one with Gangrel bloodline. He hoped that it would come to a fight, he rather disliked fighting other vampires.

'Petty conversations are a waste of time', thought Nighteyes, glancing over the edge of the building. The noise of the two voices generated just enough noise to allow his SONAR to see the two. The first thing he noticed was the scythe. "Oh shit...", he muttered. A coin slipped from his pocket and fell with a clink to the ground, hitting the scythe. "Oh fuck..."

Laguna felt the loud twang as a coin hit his scythe he looked up at the direction of the object had fallen. He up the coin and grinned, flipping the coin in the air.
"I know you're up there, no point in hiding"
Laguna sensed the aura of a fellow mehket.

Nighteyes grinned. He drew his cane and tapped a nearby drainpipe. His SONAR vision guided him to the fire escape, which he reached in one leap. He grasped the rungs before his feet hit the ground and held the handstand for a moment. Then he thrust upwards, folded his legs in and plummeted downwards. He flipped like an acrobat once, and shouted loud. He landed feet first, sword drawn, between the two strange vampires. He addressed the one who had spoken.
"You smell of Mehket."
He flourished the massive sword, then swung it abruptly at his head.

Laguna ducked under the blow and jumped back.
"HEY, HEY, HEY, This ain't a fight, friend. Let's talk like intelligent beings, hmm?"
Laguna twirled his scythe, held it tightly, ready for anything the newcomer might try. His coat just barely keeping from dragging along the ground when he lowered into a half crouch.

Nighteyes heard the vampires feet hit the ground, and saw him crouch. Nighteyes smiled and jump for him, sword held high. He laughed aloud, thrilled to be back in combat.
"Show me what you can do, youngling!" He shouted.

"Fine! You want a fight, you maniac? Then I'll give you one!"
Laguna sighed, he was NOT in the mood for this, the last thing he wanted was to be sucked into a fight before he had been even a few hours in the city. He swung the blunt end of the scythe in the low sweep, intending to knock the attacker's legs out from under him. He then immediately brought scythe down in a diagonal slice.
