The more and more she said it, the better and better it sounded in her mouth.
A child.
She had longed for one for so long.

LuLu looked at Ajora, scoffing. "He sired me. I never had a real father. Unless he was also my father..." She shrugged. How would she know?
She stood up and stretched. "I need to leave. The sun will be up soon and Ella's left work to go home." She sighed. She started walking toward the door.

Ko stood up as well, his tail moving the stool back into place.
"Listen, child."
He waited for LuLu to look at him, then spoke again.
"Should you and your sister desire, you are welcome to live with the clan."
He then walked to the window, climbing out of it, looking back at Ajora. "And Ajora, tell your husband that he is an idiot, as always."
He grinned, or as close to a grin as you could get with his mouth, and then climbed out the window, scaling the side of the building. He had to stay out of sight, and running from rooftop to alleyways was the easiest way for him.

There was a lot on Ajora's mind now.
She nodded at Ko as he left.
She got up to say something to Louise. She wanted to tell her that you need more than a father figure in your life but...Something made her feel that this girl wanted nothing more than to just leave.
She sat back down.
"Kids..." she thought.

Ella had no idea what hospital Lu was in but she knew it wasn't her's. She ran over to the Bellevue hospital center to see if they had her sister as she was running in she saw Lu.She noted Ko was there but why? maybe because of Lu. Who knew but It didn't matter now that she found Lu.
Ella skidded to a stop next to Lu and threw her arms around her. " What the hell where you doing here and Why the hell is Ko leaving via rooftop ? I know he's a big ol scary monster but damn.." She stops her rant and Hugs her sister, Glad she's alive. " god why did you come here. Why didn't you come to our hospital so i could look over you.. What happened baby girl? " She stood there with Lu at arms length and waited for her answer.

LuLu shuddered as she felt Ella here, not going home as she believed. She opened the door, only to have Ella rushing her. She put her arms around her when Ella hugged her.
"I was attacked." She admitted. She hated telling Ella this. Ella was going to explode with anger. "There were witnesses. They called an ambulance." She unzipped her pants and pulled them down to show the scar in her leg. "It was silver." She pulled them back up and zipped them back. All the details were still fresh on her mind, but she didn't want to say them out loud. Ella could tell from her thoughts. "And Ko was here, because he is my sire. Our 'father', so to speak. Mine directly, and yours through me, I guess. He didn't give me a chance to ask."
She remember Ajora then and looked back. "Kids? What about kids?" She had noticed Ajora wanting to say something...She wondered what she wasn't saying. "No need to be quiet now...You've seen me vulnerable. You saved my life." She smiled her bright pretty smile, because she really did like Ajora.

Ajora stared at the other. There was more between these two than what she could see. But it was not her place to ask.
"Honestly...I've kinda wished I could have kids lately...Much was taken away from me when I was turned. Luckily, I still managed to get married," she said, grinning at her ring, "but children is not one that I could manage..." she said sadly.
Stupid vampire body.
At least it seemed possible to turn children and form a bond like that.
It was a small bit of hope.

Ella growled in anger at what LuLu said and what she didn't have to. "I'll kill them all!"
LuLu shook her head. "Ko's going to take care of it. Don't worry about it, Ell." She hugged her sister again, resting her head on her shoulder. "Let's just go home, K?"
She cuddled a bit closer to Ella, wrapping her arms around her, then looked to Ajora. "Our mother can't know what we are. We've raised ourselves since Ko turned me." She smiled sadly. "Our father left when he found out Mama was pregnant. Then she had twins and nearly died trying to provide for us..."

"I'm very, very sorry to hear that," she said, solemnly.
Being away from family did take it's toll.
Her heart really went out to these girls. At least they had each other.
So much like Danielle and herself.
She looked up at LuLu.
"If you girls ever need anything, please find me. I know what it's like to be alone....Nobody should have to suffer that."
She thought for a moment.
With a quick motion, she held out her hands, one towards each of the girls.

LuLu took Ajora's hand without hesitation, but Ella was more cautious. Always more cautious. But, then again, LuLu never had to be. LuLu lifted her head and looked into Ella's eyes. She smiled, and Ella smile back. "It'll be ok, Ell. Ajora is nice. She saved my life."
Ella kissed LuLu's forehead and nodded. "Fine. But if she kills us, I'm going to kill you." Ella took Ajora's hand.

In each hand there was a simple, gold banded ring, bearing a light blue gem.
They were the rings of her parents. But she felt they needed them more.
"You don't have to take them....It's just so you can have my scent," she said.

LuLu gasped. She was stunned. This woman had saved her life and now she was giving her these rings. "I...Don't know what to say..." LuLu gasped out. She just stared at the ring, her ADOS kicking in.
Ella, on her other hand, looked at Ajora and raised an eyebrow. "Why are you doing this?" She couldn't understand it. People didn't just give you things for no reason. They usually wanted something out of it.

"I want you two to live happier than I did when I first got turned. I had someone with me, but there was so many times when I was alone, scared, and wished that I had a family...And part of me wants to be that family for you. If you need it. It's only an offer, you can refuse" she smiled.
She wouldn't be hurt if they declined. Not too much anyways.

LuLu nodded, not really hearing Ajora's words. She was off in LuLu Land with Kizza, her pet mind-squirrel, showing off her pretty new shiny ring. She slipped it on her finger, grinning like a mad woman. "Thanks...So much..."
Ella looked at her sister and sighed, shaking her head. "Fine. But you better be telling the truth, or I'll personally take care of it. LuLu's very fragile, ya know. She needs me more than anyone else. I would do anything for her, including kill and protect."
But instead of slipping on the ring, she gave hers to LuLu as well. LuLu nearly screamed in excitement and slipped it on her other hand. She danced around the room and came back to Ella. "Ohh look, Ella! I have TWO shiny new rings now!"
Ella nodded, slipping her arm around LuLu's waist. "Yes, I know, Lu. Are you ready to go home?" LuLu nodded. "Alright, let's go." Ella turned once more to Ajora. "Thank you for saving her. She's all I've got." She let a small smile creep to her lips, but then let it disappear as she headed out the door. LuLu was humming happily.
