She turned over to lay on her side, but apparently her armor pinched her somewhere, and she jumped. Frustrated, she stood up and undressed herself... Ren had already seen her like this, and it would only be a matter of time until Adonia did as well, so she figured she might as well get it over with. She pulled her armor off, tossing it into a pile on the floor. Her chest was covered with bruises, black and blue from the explosion. Again the small scars on her wrists and neck where visible, but barely. On her back was branded the insignia of the Zealots of Blood... it looked like it had been done less than a year ago. It wasn't simply a branding iron, either... it looked to have been done with a very sharp, very hot device... bit by bit. She slid her robe back on, masking her markings from view once again. She remained silent... she was grateful for the hospitality, but she was still unsure that this was a good idea.

Adonia snapped her fingers and Eros was by her side. Ares was finishing the meal. She did a hand sign and the wolf left quickly.
"You need to rest some more for those wounds to heal."

"They aren't that bad. I shouldn't complain so much."
She sighed, pulling around at various parts of her robe. It didn't fit properly without her armor on... and it tended to cling in places that it wasn't nice for it to.
"Where were my weapons taken? I'll need a blade. I have something I need to do."

She motioned to where they were sitting beside the bed.
"I trust you to not be violent to hospitable people."
Eros returned with a satchel in his mouth. Adonia took it with a pet and held it out to her.
"This is full of aromas that make the pains lesson without being a drug."

"On second thought, I won't need the blade..."
She stared at one of her wrists for a second, then took the satchel from Eros.
"Is this the room I will be staying in for the foreseeable future? And would you mind giving me back my equipment?"

She motioned to her things to show her that they were free for her to get as she shrugged.
"That depends if you wish to be Ren's bedfellow for your stay here or not."

She looked over towards Ren, blushing slightly.
"her room, her call."

She smiled a soft, actually fairly relieved smile, and nodded. "Yes. I would like that."

"All settled then."
Adonia clapped her hands and her wolves came to her.
"I'll let you rest now. If you need something to eat, just snap your fingers and my little Melody will come to help you."
Melody was a young human child who was saved by Adonia a few months ago. She had made it a rule that no one drinks from her and no one sleeps with her. She treated Melody like her daughter, for she looked like a younger version of Adonia. A MUCH younger version of her in fact. Though their personalities were completely opposite. Where Adonia was sly and flirty, young Melody was timid yet open.

She was happy about Ren's decision... though she wasn't exactly sure why. It was a bit strange.
"Well, hopefully I'll actually get some sleep in this bed..."
She smirked, walked over to her things, and started rifling through them. A piece of the detonated grenade was still in it's holster. She pulled from it a small black case, and within it where a series of vials, each containing a pure, clear substance. She uncorked a couple of them and chugged the contents. She started feeling better almost immediately. She continued until there was only a couple of vials left... she must have been thirsty.
"ugh, better already... Oh, that reminds me, I have an obvious question I need to ask. If I am to stay here... what will I be doing? I'm sure that I won't just be sleeping here and eating here until I die..."

"You are free to come and go as you desire."
She picked up the bottle of water she had brought with her and tossed it on the bed.
"It has a pain soothing agent in it, enjoy."
She didn't mention that it would flush her systems in a few hours but that was on a need-to-know-basis-only and she didn't need to know yet.
"This is open to you as a home and a resting place and I would much rather have you here to rest your lovely head than anywhere else where you will be in danger."

Figuring that if they where going to try and kill her, they would have done it by now, and they wouldn't use a poison, she grabbed the bottle from the bed and took a few sips. It had a funny taste for water... but that must have been the pain dulling agent. Hopefully it wasn't made of liquid sorrow or something else you might find in a bad vampire novel...
She took sip after sip. Even the vials from earlier didn't seem to quench her thirst... and before long, the entire bottle had been emptied.
"That stuff better work..."

Adonia smiled.
"It will."
She bowed slightly and left, her wolves in tail.
